Matthew MacKenzie "Mack" Robinson (1914 – 2000), a graduate of Muir High School, was an American track and field athlete best known for winning the 400-meter relay team and winning a silver medal in the 1936 Summer Olympics, where he broke the 200-meter Olympic record. Robinson graduated from the University of Oregon in 1941 and was inducted into the University of Oregon Hall of Fame and the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame. Later in life, he was known for leading the fight against street crime in Pasadena. The stadium of PCC was dedicated to him in 2000. That same year, the US Postal Service named a new post office after him in Pasadena.
