New Life Holiness Church, 2005 N Fair Oaks Ave, Pasadena, CA 91103
New Life Holiness Church has been a part of the North West corridor of Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena for over 50 years. The original location of the church was 851 N Fair Oaks Avenue from approximately 1962 to 1970. The church was founded and pastored by Bishop Thomas E Medlock and his wife, Reverend Elzena Medlock until June 2014 when the pastorate was transferred to their daughter, Reverend Othella Medlock.
The church was well known in the community during the 1970’s and 1980’s for their weekly ministry broadcast over radio station KPPC.
During the most vibrant years, the church sponsored weekly grocery distribution and housed a small bakery offering homemade desserts and breads.
The church was active in providing after school tutoring and homework help for children of the parishioners and the community.
The church conducted Nursing Home visitations, offering prayer and spiritual support to the hospital bound residents.
The church is currently active and rebooting it’s focus on community outreach with the goal of making disciples for Christ and serving the residents of the neighborhood
